Calistoga Pedal & Pamper Vacation: Options & Add-Ons

If you’re hankering for an extra dose of variety mid-vacation, you can choose to swap out one day of bike touring for an “Option Day.”

Don’t misunderstand us, we would love for you to join us everyday for bike tours. But when you have a desire to mix it up a bit, we invite you to explore the following activity options.

Several of the "Option Day" activities listed on this page are available to “add-on” to your vacation experience without sacrificing any of your daily bike tours!

The following activities can be scheduled outside of the 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. window when you will be on tour with us and make a great addition to your vacation.

SUNSET RIVER CRUISE
After a day of cycling, relax with a sunset cruise along the Napa River. The evening cruise lasts from about 5 to 7 p.m. (exact times vary according to the tides) and they invite you to bring a bottle of wine to enjoy during the voyage. This activity is available at an additional charge.

HOT-AIR BALLOON RIDE
This early-morning adventure is a perfect addition to one of your bike tour days with us. You’ll enjoy a flight of about 90 minutes, followed by a champagne breakfast with your pilot and then head over to our shop by 9:45 a.m. for your bike tour. This activity is available at an additional charge.

It’s just a couple of hours in the morning, but it’s definitely an experience you’ll never forget. Let us know if you would like us to book a hot-air balloon ride during your Napa Valley vacation. The flight lasts about an hour and half and is followed by a light champagne breakfast with your pilot. Spend the rest of the day shopping or relaxing at the pool. COST: Booking this activity will incur an additional charge of $115 per person (paid directly to the balloon company on the day of your flight).

After a day of shopping, touring on your own, or simply relaxing at the pool, let us book a sunset cruise on a riverboat excursion down the Napa River. COST: No additional charge when this activity is booked in lieu of one of your bike tours.

If you’re ready to give your legs a break, but don’t want to sacrifice a day of winery hopping, we can arrange limo services for groups of 2 to 10 (larger groups may require a chartered bus or multiple limos). COST: Depending on the number of people booking this option, there could be an additional charge of up to $90 per person. Private tours can have an additional cost as much as $150 per person.

We’ll have your picnic basket ready for you and directions to some of the best hiking spots in Northern California. Explore on foot for a couple of hours, or spend the whole day scouting around on a self-guided route. COST: No additional charge for this activity.

Napa Valley Trail Rides will host you on this unique adventure. COST: No additional charge for this Option Day activity.You will pay the outfitter and provide us the receipt afterwards, so we can reimburse you.
